Sponsored ads not showing suddenly

Today have had zero sales, very unusual. Just looked at catalgoue and none of my sponsored ads are showing for our commonest search phrase in a search results, as they have been previously, appearing top of first page. Checked account health (100%), none are search suppressed. Sponsored ads shows they’ve had impressions today. But I cant see them at all in any search result pages. Tried different browser / device etc. It also would explain the zero sales. What do I do first? Can’t imagine contacting SS will help.

If your ads are still getting impressions but you can’t see them in typical positions, the most likely reasons are a drop in ad rank due to increased competition, reduced bids, or low budget pacing.

Start by checking your campaign budgets and make sure they’re not being exhausted early in the day.

Review bid levels on your most important keywords and compare them with suggested bids to see if you’ve been outbid.

Check placement reports to see if impressions are shifting away from top-of-search.

Also, review your Search Term report to identify any drop in impressions or click volume for your primary keywords.

If everything appears normal but visibility is still down, try temporarily increasing bids on critical terms to test if visibility returns.

Sometimes Amazon also limits visibility due to suppressed backend data, so it’s worth double-checking if your listings have any suppressed elements in the manage inventory tab. If none of this resolves the issue, waiting 24–48 hours and monitoring the trend before contacting support is a practical step, as support rarely gives helpful answers on PPC visibility.
