I have been tracking my sponsored ads campaigns for a few weeks while making adjustments.
Here is what I have found.
- Less relevant search terms / keywords are getting impressions.
- Relevant keywords are not getting any impressions.
This despite bidding well over the estimated 1st page bid.
Are you using Automatic Targeting for your keywords?
It is great to get a start in your campaigns, but as you learn which keywords work and which do not, it is a good idea to switch to manual targeting for your campaigns.
You will have to set up a whole new campaign though, but if you are able to handpick the keywords that work, it is worth the time setting up a new campaign.
