We are looking to sign up for this service on our website. We currently have an Amazon seller account and wanted to know if we sign up for the Amazon payments system will this cause our Amazon seller account go back though verification again??

To sign up for Amazon Payments you need to register with an e-mail address that has not been used on Amazon before. It is not possible to link the account to your sell on Amazon account.
There is a separate verification process with the Amazon Payments account also.
