Shipping my first FbA inventory

Hi everyone,

I’m about to order my first product shipment. I live in Canada and plan to sell in Amazon’s US market. I’ve read that people ship their products to their homes or somewhere they can inspect them. In my case, how would I go about doing that? I don’t want to ship it to Canada and then to Amazon warehouse in the States because it seems like a hassle and it seems to be more costly too.

Also, do you all have any recommendations on freight forwarders? Thanks in advance!

You can arrange your supplier to ship straight into Amazon’s FBA warehouse in the US, without involving any freight forwarder.

More costly? Yes.

A hassle? Not if you want to make sure the products are correctly prepped and labeled before they show up at Amazon’s Fulfillment center.

If your shipment is being imported directly to Amazon’s Fulfillment center, they have put together an article that you will find beneficial.
