Shipment creation ability removed due to shipment issues

Earlier today, I received a notification from the FBA Team that one of the boxes sent in the latest shipment is overweight, and as a result, they have temporarily blocked my account. Previously, I have never faced this issue. The shipment plan was created by one of my new prep centers. Before this, there was just one issue related to missing items, which was resolved after I provided them with the invoice and supply chain documents.

What do I do in this situation? Should I just acknowledge it or dispute it? Should I contact my prep center? How can they help? If I just acknowledge it, will this have any impact on my account health?

Please guide me. Thank you.

You shouldn’t dispute it unless you know that Amazon is mistaken. Are you sure the box weight was within the 50lb limit?

You need to read up on the FBA requirements for your marketplace and confirm that you have read them by checking the box. Also, make sure that your prep centre also understands everything regarding FBA shipments. If it was me, I would get them to sign that hey have read and understood the rules.

There is a 50lb limit but you and they need to know about all the rules otherwise you risk a permanent ban…

If you look at the bottom of the notification, there is an option to acknowledge the violation by ticking the box. You will be able to continue creating FBA shipments as soon as you do that.

Make sure that next time, your prep centre will be familiar with the weight limit. You have only exceeded it by 2.22lb, which is a very small difference. Sometimes, Amazon will not take issue with it. But if you get caught, it can cause defects like this one.
