Hi everyone,
I have a question.
After creating a listing on Amazon and getting it approved by Amazon, do we have the option to choose when we start selling the product?
The inventory is not yet ready to ship.
Hi everyone,
I have a question.
After creating a listing on Amazon and getting it approved by Amazon, do we have the option to choose when we start selling the product?
The inventory is not yet ready to ship.
If you are doing FBM, you can start selling as soon as the listing is live. If you are doing FBA, the listing becomes active once the inventory reaches the Amazon warehouse.
Please provide more details about your issue for a more specific answer.
Hi,
you can start selling once your inventory arrives at Amazon’s warehouse and is checked in.
Are you facing any delays?
You can set your product listing to “Inactive” in your Seller Central account. This will prevent customers from purchasing the product until you’re ready. If you want to start accepting orders before your inventory is ready, you can enable the Pre-Order option. This allows customers to purchase the product, and you can specify the expected shipping date.
Why not find vendors who you can ship directly to your customers and get profit sent to you?
Yes, after creating and getting your listing approved on Amazon, you have control over when you start selling the product. If your inventory is not yet ready to ship, you can leave the listing inactive by not sending stock to Amazon for FBA or keeping it out of stock for FBM. Additionally, you can set your listing to inactive or out of stock in Seller Central to prevent orders until you are ready to fulfill them. Just ensure that once your inventory is ready, you update the stock levels or send units to Amazon so your listing becomes active.
