If a products has been discontinued by the manufacturer, can you still sell on Amazon if there’s a demand for it?
And does it matter if you get it from an authorized distributor or not?
Yes, you can sell a discontinued product by the manufacturer on Amazon, as long there is a listing for it with accurate information.
However, these days Amazon will no longer let you create listings for products that are under a third party brand, they require you to be authorized by them to be able to do this.
So, my advice is that you only list the discontinued product if there is already a listing.
Don’t attempt to create a new one or circumvent any restrictions by inserting a different brand name into the Brand field.
