We started our Seller Fulfilled Trial today (UK marketplace). A couple of odd things happening which makes us wonder if we set stuff up correctly.
Our SFP listings still show as the seller providing customer support - should it not be Amazon?
The delivery promise on our SFP prime offers is currently a day or two longer than our FBM offer. Can’t understand why that is. On the shipping template, our One-Day Premium Sihpping is set as 1 day including handling.
I would reach out to seller support. Since it’s SFP, I would have thought you’d need to offer customer support, as it’s merchant fulfilled. Regarding the delivery promise, have you checked if there are any additional settings that might be overriding it? If not, it could be a glitch.
I have never done SFP, but I believe that customer support is typically provided by the seller, not Amazon. Amazon usually steps in only if there’s a dispute between the buyer and the seller.
Regarding the shipping issue, it might be related to the courier service. Can they fulfill the order within your desired time frame?
You’ll need to finish the trial period first to show that you meet the standards for Prime fulfillment and customer satisfaction before getting the benefits. During the trial, the Prime badge won’t show up on your items enrolled in Seller Fulfilled Prime, but you still have to process orders with a zero-day handling time. Once you complete the trial successfully, you’ll automatically be enrolled in Seller Fulfilled Prime, and your ASINs will display the Prime badge to customers, with Amazon taking care of customer service.
