Restricted product policy violation

I have received a restricted product policy violation for selling a melatonin supplement. (Mexico) I had already ran out of inventory and did not close the listing on time when I recieved the notice. As soon as I received the violation notice I closed the listing.

I do not have the option to acknowledge the violation, and can only appeal.

However, I do not know what exactly I should express in the appeal since I believe I should rather accept the violation but I am worried that by accepting this, my account could get suspended or deactivated.

I found out that one of the ingredients on this supplement is on a gray zone on mexicos´s law and I am sure that was the issue with my product.

I really don´t know how to proceed to keep my account as safe as possible and have the less impact.

How do you think I should face this?

I would not do anything. Only close and delete the listing and thats it.

Highlight the information they need to check: date purchased, your client’s name, the quantity you bought, and the product name.

If this do not affect your acount health at this time, maybe it is better to wait and do not take any action.
