I am doing wholesale and private label together. I am running out of storage. We put a request for more storage at Amazon warehouse.
How long does this take to do and it is it easier to just call Amazon?

You will need to go to the Capacity Manager, where you can easily request storage increase:
https://sellercentral.amazon.com/inventory-storage/storage-request/limit-increase
They will get back to you quickly. There will be a small fee to pay though, once your request gets approved.
Selling quickly you will get a larger inventory limit, if you want to request more, contact Amazon support
