Reduction in Pan-EU FBA oversize surcharge, effective from September 1

Announcement reposted from Amazon Europe:

To help support your sales in Amazon’s store, we’ve reduced the 2024 Pan-EU FBA oversize surchargeannounced in December 2023.

Effective from September 1, 2024, we’ll reduce the Pan-EU FBA oversize surcharge rates announced in December 2023 by 30–50% for products sold in the France, Italy and Spain stores.

There will be no change to the cases in which the surcharge will apply. Starting on September 1, the following changes will take effect:

  • The Pan-EU FBA oversize surcharge will no longer apply for the France, Italy and Spain stores if the country in which you ship your inventory to Amazon is the same country in which your inventory is sold.
  • The surcharge will apply for the Germany store if the country in which you ship your inventory to Amazon is different from the country in which your inventory is sold.
  • The surcharge will only apply if both the long-term (last 150 days) and short-term (last 30 days) historical inbound-sales quantity is less than zero in the country of sale.

Starting August 15, the Fee Preview report will display the updated Pan-EU FBA oversize surcharge. From August 26, you’ll also be able to view the surcharge rates in the Pan-EU Oversize report.
