Anyone experiencing same? Been very quiet all weekend and week so far. We’re mainly B2B. Is no-one back in work? ![]()
It has been very quiet in Europe, you are right. It could be the case that everyone is ordering from Temu and Shein.
In the US, it’s very busy as always. Are you doing FBA as well or just FBM?
Just FBM (I only create and sell personalised items)
My list for when things are quiet:
- Try not to panic
- Spend a little time (but not too much), seeing if there’s any obvious reason for the slow down (account health, competitor’s products/prices, listing visibility)
- Check if other sellers are also finding it slow
- Be constructive by tidying existing / developing new listings, researching, and getting onto some of the many things I don’t normally have any time to get round to)
- Resist temptation to try tweaking prices (unless that is obviously the reason (point 2), but it’s probably, you know, just quiet)
- Try not to pon’t panic
Have I missed anything?
Further thing I’ve noticed. Looking at my business reports on Amazon, sessions haven’t actually dropped. But something occurred on the 19th before the Easter bank holiday and those potential buyers suddenly weren’t buying (50% reduction in sessions that converted to sales).
Nothing obvious to suggest what caused that, shop front wise: People are still shopping but either buying competitors instead, or being more cautious and not buying at all. Who knows.
It’s been quiet for me too, both fbm and fba since the new year. I turned off fbm a couple of days ago as I am on holiday and fba is ticking over.
I won’t be retiring early, that’s for sure.
Clearly we need to sell in U.S!. Who’d have thought with all that’s going on there, that that market would be thriving.
P.S Holiday! Cor I remember them.
