How do you deal with other sellers tanking the price?
I was on a listing. The price went from $51 to $24 with no profit at all.
Looks like the one who offers lower prices wins the buy box.
Is there any other strategy people are following apart from price war?
The only solution is to wait for your turn. Don’t keep prices that much down so you are left with nothing. Wait for other sellers to get OOS. Maybe this product will get back to the original price after the Q4.
That is why MAP it’s a good thing sometimes because many sellers are either selling fakes or buying from a wholesaler that is selling fake just to get invoice.
Just wait for them to sell out. Considering competitors number of inventories and possibility of replenishment. Maybe those sellers got the item at a lesser price or inauthentic items is a possible angle too.
Yup! It’s so bad right now. Look at this one. 870 units sold a month and this dummy jumps on with over 30 at less than half price.
