Question about utility bill for verification

Hey guys.

I’m in the process of signing up for the amazon account. It’s asking me for proof of address. I read earlier on the forums and the information I gathered said I need a utility bill.

What do you do if you don’t have any of those types of purchases on your account? I don’t have electricity, phone bill, etc. Would a regular statement suffice? Does it have to be mailed in or can it be online?

Thanks!

You don’t sell on amazon.

If you don’t have utility bills, a regular bank statement could potentially work as proof of address. As for whether it needs to be mailed or online, Amazon usually accepts both physical and digital copies.

Bank or credit card statement will suffice as an alternative to utility bill.

If you don’t have a utility bill like electricity or phone, you can use a bank statement or a lease agreement as proof of address. It doesn’t have to be a paper copy; an online statement or PDF is usually fine as long as it shows your name and address clearly.

If you’re being asked for a utility bill during Amazon seller verification, an electricity bill is usually the most accepted. If you’re from Pakistan and a HESCO customer, you can use the hesco duplicate bill online check feature to download an official copy instantly. Just make sure the bill includes your name and address, and it should work fine even if it’s a digital version.
