Question about Keepa

I’m using keepa in .ca marketplace.

The sales ranking chart showing 80 drops/per month and been sold by Amazon.

But when I see Data>Offers and see sold in 30 days. Its showing none. Also stock history ain’t showing any drop too.

Is the sales ranking drops are showing for .com marketplace??

Any guidance?

No, the sales rank drops you are seeing in Keepa on the .ca marketplace are normally specific to the Canadian marketplace, not .com. However, Keepa’s estimated monthly sales drops are based mainly on BSR movement and not directly on visible stock decreases, so the numbers can sometimes look inconsistent, especially when Amazon itself is the seller.

When “Sold in 30 days” shows none and the stock history is not decreasing, it usually means one of a few things: either Amazon is replenishing stock very frequently, Keepa is unable to track the stock accurately, or the BSR movement is being caused by category fluctuations rather than actual sales volume. This happens quite often with Amazon as the seller because their inventory updates differently from normal third-party sellers and Keepa cannot always monitor real stock changes correctly.

Also remember that Keepa’s sales estimates are not exact sales numbers, they are predictions based on ranking behavior. So 80 drops per month does not necessarily mean exactly 80 sales. In smaller marketplaces like .ca, BSR can also move more aggressively from fewer sales compared to .com.

The best thing to do is compare multiple signals together rather than relying only on rank drops. Check price history, offer count changes, stock movement if available, review velocity, and whether the BSR movement looks natural over time. Usually, if stock history, sold count, and other signals all show nothing, the estimated drops may simply be inflated or caused by unstable rank movement rather than strong actual demand.
