Provide information for DAC7 compliance within 60 days of first notice

Announcement reposted from Amazon:

If your primary address is in the EU and you either generate €2,000 or more in sales or complete 30 or more transactions in the 2023 calendar year, you must provide us the information required to comply with the Directive on Administrative Cooperation—7th amendment (DAC7).

DAC7 requires online stores in the EU, such as Amazon, to report revenue and business information to tax authorities annually.

If you meet the criteria above, you may receive a first notice from Amazon in your Performance Notifications dashboard as soon as August 21.

Once you’ve been notified, you have 60 days to provide the required information in Seller Central for each store that you sell in, including stores outside of the EU. If you only sell in Amazon’s EU stores, you only need to provide information for one EU store of your choice.

If you don’t submit the required information for each store that you sell in, your selling accounts may be deactivated and your funds withheld until the information is provided and verified.
