Product assigned to wrong ASIN

Hello everyone,

I am new to Amazon FBA wholesale and would need little suggestion.

I have sent my inventory to Amazon’s warehouse with SKU assigned to an ASIN but later I realized that I assigned the wrong ASIN to my product (Both products are same but different ASINs) e.g. I am selling Dove shampoo with one ASIN and sent SKUs of this ASIN but it’s also sold by ANOTHER seller and I want to switch to ANOTHER sellers ASIN.

How can we proceed with that? Any Idea would be really helpful.

Thanks

You are lucky the products are the same. When you send in a product with the wrong ASIN on it, you have to close the listing and recall ALL of your product back. Because you were sending in the same product for different ASIN’s you’re best to just leave it as is.

I agree with @score3. You would have to remove your inventory from the Fulfillment centers, add your offer to the other listing, relabel your bottles, and send them back.

There are several other offers for Dove Shampoo. It’s best if you just left them there until they sell out.

Soo, do I just leave them there and do nothing?

Yes, you are correct about the product being exactly the same. For some reason, there are 2 separate lists. One with UPC barcode and other with EAN. Product is the same.

No. You have two other options:

  1. You could price them to sell them off,

  2. Remove your inventory from the Fulfillment centers, add your offer to the other listing, relabel your bottles, and send them back.

Even though the products are identical?
