PRICING ERROR ON AMAZON – AND HOW TO FIX IT

If your Amazon listing keeps going inactive every 30 minutes due to a “Pricing Error” — you’re not alone.

🔧 WHY IT HAPPENS

Amazon automatically compares your price to the “market price.”
If it detects a large discrepancy, the system deactivates your listing.
Sometimes, however, the algorithm gets it wrong — and your ASIN gets stuck in a deactivation loop.

✅ STEP 1: SET MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM PRICES
  1. Go to Seller Central → Inventory

  2. Enable Minimum Price and Maximum Price columns

  3. Set a realistic range (for example, min $15 / max $40)

Usually, the listing becomes active again within 30–60 minutes.

✅ STEP 2: USE AMAZON’S BUILT-IN TOOL

Search in Seller Central:
“Unblock listings that have pricing errors.”
Follow the link — Amazon will run a quick diagnostic and suggest automatic fixes.

✅ STEP 3: CONTACT SUPPORT (IF THE ISSUE PERSISTS)

To speed things up, make your message clear and structured:
• Attach a screenshot of the error
• Include ASIN and SKU
• Provide a link to the official brand website showing the correct price

Support is much more likely to lift the block when the price is verifiable.
Whenever possible, use live chat or phone support — it’s faster than case messages.
