Hey all, wondering if you could shed some light on an issue I have at the moment. Currently doing some ppc on a fair new product of mine. Margins are good so I can spend a bit more on ppc. I am currently getting 4 or 5 sales a day so wanted to ramp up my ppc.
However I have huge daily spend limited and have updated the bids themselves so their very high. However I’m not being pushed to the top sponsorship positions.
I sometimes make the bottom one but because I’m being so aggressive I thought I would be higher! Plus my daily budgets are no way near being used.
If you’re not getting the desired top sponsorship positions despite having high bids and available daily budgets, there could be several reasons for this:
Competitive Landscape: The competition for top sponsorship positions can be fierce, and other advertisers may also be bidding aggressively for the same keywords.
Relevancy and Quality Score: Amazon considers ad relevancy, click-through rate (CTR), and other factors when determining ad placement. If your ad isn’t highly relevant or has a low CTR, it may affect its position.
Dynamic Bidding: Amazon uses dynamic bidding, and your ad position may vary based on factors like device type, audience, and search query.
Budget Allocation: Your ad spend may be limited by other campaigns or ad groups within your account.
To improve your ad placement and visibility, consider the following strategies:
Competitive Bidding: Continue increasing your bids to be more competitive, but ensure they align with your target ACoS (Advertising Cost of Sales).
Keyword Optimization: Refine your keyword selection to target more relevant and high-converting terms.
Ad Content Improvement: Optimize your ad copy to make it more engaging and relevant to your target audience.
Negative Keywords: Use negative keywords to filter out irrelevant or low-performing search terms.
Campaign Segmentation: Separate campaigns by performance or product groups to have more control over bids and budgets.
Experiment and Monitor: Test different bidding strategies and monitor the performance to find the optimal balance between visibility and cost.
Keep in mind that ad positions and visibility can fluctuate based on various factors, so it’s essential to continuously monitor and optimize your campaigns to achieve your advertising goals effectively.
