could you recommend any legitimate suppliers/ platforms aside from Alibaba?
I’m looking for suppliers from India and the USA so we can avoid high tariffs and advertise made in India or made in the USA instead of China.

In India Indiamart is a one stop solution for all bulk requirements. One thing to note while selecting supplier on Indiamart is to look for trusted supplier or star supplier badge as some of them won’t be reliable. Hope that helps
Buy a couple of different product samples. Do not just buy 1. Buy from different suppliers & compare. When u find a supplier make sure u agree what ur order will be and don’t allow them to make any changes. Plus ship yourself. Do not allow them to ship. Save $$. Also really look into Amazon fba fees

India Mart is focused on the domestic market - it has a lot of traders,merchants and even Chinese sellers who may not understand Export requirements. The prices are even in Rupees.
I would prefer to try different categories at once and then decide which one to focus on.
