Amazon is depositing my first month of earnings, $3.62. They’re holding over $300 of my profit. When can I expect to be paid the remaining $300+?
Easy! It’s reserved. They will release it soon.
Hi @Raggarty,
They like hanging onto our funds so they can profit from it. It’s frustrating, but they will release them soon enough.
Please note that as a new seller who registered to sell on Amazon on or after 15th August 2016, you are subject to the Estimated Delivery date reserve called “Payments based on delivery”.
It means that the money you make from a sale will be held in your account for at least 7 days after the estimated delivery date of each order. Then, it will be added to your available balance and disbursed at your next scheduled settlement date (usually takes 2 weeks).
This is a permanent feature. And there is no option to appeal this “Payments based on delivery” disbursement schedule.
