Other charge

Does anyone has any idea of what other charge is in amazon.recently there has been a charge appearing almosy daily mentioned as other with no clear description sometimes its less but sometimes alot over £3k and even in reports it only says other non subscription charges with no clear breakdown or description

thank you for joining the forum. Usually, the “Other” charges constitute anything not otherwise mentioned above in the charges breakdown.

It could be:

  • product recalls
  • deductions for miscellaneous Amazon services which you subscribed for
  • credits issued to Amazon buyers by Customer Service
  • credit card chargebacks

It would be helpful if you clarified what are you selling? Since the charge is repeated, it indicates a subscription to a service.

This could be CSBA service - Customer Service by Amazon or one of their sales boost programmes with a dedicated account manager.

Have you tried contacting the Seller Support?

We had this 360 program with dedicated manager which ended few months ago and i confirmed it from them too and they said you havent been charged for those services since october

So, this is most likely the cause. It appears like they continued charging you and the rates could be different. There could be additional subscription services that were previously complimentary and now you are getting charged. If this is the case, then you will need to opt out.

Definitely contact the Seller Support and ask them for clarification. But I am 99% sure it has to do with the subscription services. You could have received a discount in the past. It could also be

CSBA, which comes with some free month and is then continued as a paid service.

No its not CSBA or 360 charge as that ended in october and i also confirmed it with my account manager and he said last payment was taken on 31st october

In the report it says other non subscription charges

Have you tried contacting the Seller Support to see what they provide you as an explanation?

Yes i contacted them who forwarded query to payments team who replied via email and only said goto reports and check there.i told them that in reportd there is no explanation and now they are not replying

I am having a similar problem with a load of charges which just say released. I have written to Seller Support but all they do is transfer the case and I never hear from them again.

I open new cases saying I have heard nothing on the previous case. All they do it transfer it again.

It is adding up to hundreds of pounds.

It’s horrible how they can ignore a such a valid and justified request. Have you tried @amznsellerhelp on Twitter?

Seller Support has been so bad lately. 90% of cases is just a random words generation reply.

They generally ignore the point I am making, reply with nonsense for a while and then just say ‘this is the final outcome opening the case will not change the reply.’

Basically saying ‘sod off’
