We have had a performance notification sent to us regarding our SFP on-time shipment rate which has fallen below the required rate. The only issue I have with writing the POA is this was something that was outwith our control… Royal Mail collected as normal but it seems that they didn’t scan a full york of parcels.
What would everyone recommend I put on the POA in this instance?
thank you for posting into our forum. I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with lost Seller Fulfilled Prime Shipping Eligibility due to on-time shipment rate.
This can happen due to issues outside of your control, however, as you know Amazon requires that you meet very strict criteria in order to be able to offer the Seller Fulfilled Prime service.
You will need to submit a Plan of Action if you would like to appeal, otherwise, you should be able to offer the service again automatically after a few weeks.
According to Amazon, “To restore eligibility for Seller Fulfilled Prime, please submit a Plan of Action by replying to this email or writing to [[email protected]].
To be eligible for Seller Fulfilled Prime, your business must meet the following criteria:
Have an Amazon Professional seller account
Have a domestic warehouse from which to fulfill your orders
Ship over 99% of your orders on time
Have an order cancellation rate of less than 0.5%
Use Amazon Buy Shipping Services for at least 98% of orders
Deliver orders with our supported Seller Fulfilled Prime carriers
Seller must agree to the Amazon Returns Policy
Allow for all customer service inquiries to be dealt with by Amazon
Thanks again for all of your help. Do you think in this instance it would be best just to edit this example POA to something that could have happened as opposed to what actually has happened? Sometimes I feel with this POA merry go round is it’s sometimes easier just to make something up that means us owning up to doing something wrong even if we haven’t
Are you asked to write a Plan of Action at this point or did you just receive a warning with an option to submit a Plan of Action?
From my personal experience, in cases like this Amazon will expect you to say that you will now dump this carrier and replace it with a different one. They don’t allow honest and justified explanations such as what you stated above.
In many cases, it’s better not to appeal if you have an option.
Also, if you have any Amazon seller friends, feel free to invite them over there to join and post whenever they need help with Amazon
Your on-time Shipment rate for your Seller Fulfilled Prime orders has fallen below the 99% requirement of the program. In the period from 17th June to 22nd June (week 25) , your on-time shipment rate was 92.34%
On-time Shipment rate accuracy is the percentage of seller-fulfilled packages that are shipped by the estimated dispatch date. For orders you receive before the website cut-off time, you are expected to continue shipping these on the same day to which the order was placed.
One of the requirements of the Seller Fulfilled Prime program is to ship at least 99% of your Seller Fulfilled Prime orders on or before the promised ship date. Failure to meet the program requirements will result in suspending your eligibility for Seller Fulfilled Prime and turning off the Prime badge on your Seller Fulfilled Prime items.
In order to avoid losing your eligibility, you need to submit a Plan of Action that explains:
Why your Seller Fulfilled Prime on-time shipment rate has fallen below the 99% level?
What actions are you taking to remedy the situation?
What measures you are putting in place to avoid the reoccurrence of this problem?
What is the time frame for the implementation of this POA?"
