Obtaining a credit card in the US

Hi everyone,

I’m curious about the process of getting a credit card in the US as a non-citizen who has opened an LLC company for Amazon.

How difficult is it to obtain a credit card like Amex?

Well, lately it has become impossible to do that.

It depends on the age of your LLC and the transactions history of your bank account connected to your business its a bit difficult but possible to obtain, depends on how much you want it.

Obtaining a credit card in the US typically involves several steps. First, you’ll need to have a social security number or an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN). Next, you’ll want to research different credit card options to find one that suits your needs and financial situation.

Many banks and financial institutions offer credit cards, so it’s a good idea to compare interest rates, fees, rewards programs, and other features before applying. You can often apply for a credit card online, by phone, or in person at a bank branch.

When you apply for a credit card, the issuer will evaluate your credit history and financial information to determine whether to approve your application and what credit limit to offer you. If you’re new to the US or don’t have much of a credit history, you may need to start with a secured credit card or a credit card designed for people with limited credit.

Once you’re approved for a credit card, it’s important to use it responsibly by making payments on time and keeping your credit utilization low. Building a positive credit history can help you qualify for better credit card offers and other financial products in the future.
