Newbie queries about images

Hello,

Iโ€™m going to start selling on amazon soon and I have some questions. Regarding my product photos, do I necessarily have to take them myself and then edit them or is it enough to get ready-made photos (e.g. from suppliers)?

Can I ask the suppliers for permission to use their photos or does it not work that way?

Also, is it generally suggested that it is best to first order a sample of the product to me to test it?

Thanks in advance

You can use suppliers photos if you have permission and they meet Amazon criteria.

It must be a good quality image with a WHITE ONLY background.

If you are ordering a private label product then yes I would suggest a sample first.

Make sure your range isnโ€™t in a gated category.

Hello @estores,

I have more than 12,000 different products in stock. I buy everything online, so I gather the features, descriptions, and images at the time of purchase.

They are all stock photos, which look a lot better than ones individuals take. Since I do sell collectibles, we take photos of particular products upon request.
