New metrics are now available in your SAFE-T reports

Announcement reposted from Amazon Europe:

  • To give you better visibility and control over your Seller Assurance for e-Commerce Transactions (SAFE-T) claims, we’ve added new data fields to the downloadable SAFE-T reports.

You now have two report options:

  1. The existing SAFE-T Claims report, which tracks orders for which SAFE-T claims have already been filed.
  2. The new Refund & Replacement report, which provides an overall view of all orders, with new data fields for enhanced visibility.

The new data fields include the following:

  1. Claim filing eligibility, which shows whether an order qualifies for a SAFE-T claim to be filed and highlights the reason if the order is not eligible
  2. Order type, which distinguishes between orders that were refunded and orders that received a replacement
  3. Refund/replacement date, which is the date when the refund was issued or the replacement was processed
  4. Refund/replacement quantity, which is the number of items that were refunded or replaced in the order
  5. Claim quantity, which is the number of items that were included in the filed claim
  6. Return merchandise authorisation (RMA) ID, which is the number to track the return
  7. SAFE-T action reason, which explains the SAFE-T claim outcome and can help you improve future claim submissions

To download the reports, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Orders and select Manage SAFE-T Claims.
  2. Click Download SAFE-T report.
  3. Use the drop-down menu to select the report type: SAFE-T Claims or Refund & Replacement.

When you review the Refund & Replacement report, we recommend that you filter the Claim filing eligibility field for Eligible in order to identify whether you can file a SAFE-T claim for the respective orders. Note that claim filing eligibility does not guarantee reimbursement. Instead, reimbursement eligibility is determined upon our review of your claim based on the reimbursement requirements.

Please review the SAFE-T requirements before you file a claim in order to avoid spending time and effort on raising invalid claims, as those will be denied.
