I’m really hoping someone who has dealt with this can help me.
My husband previously had an Amazon Seller account, but it was deactivated a long time ago.
Later, I tried to create my own Amazon Seller account using my own name and details, but Amazon rejected it, saying I already had an account. They had somehow linked my application to my husband’s deactivated account.
I opened a case with Amazon Seller Support, and they told me to create a new account using a new email address and a new phone number. I followed their instructions exactly, but I still received the same rejection. At that time, I thought it might have been because we were using the same residential address.
After waiting about a year, I formed my own US LLC, opened a business bank account, and used a different business address for a new registration. This time, Amazon didn’t mention my husband’s account, but instead rejected my application, saying I had multiple seller accounts.
I genuinely do not have another active seller account. I have invested time and money into setting up my LLC, and I’m worried all of that will be wasted.
Has anyone experienced something similar? How did you resolve it? Is there a specific department or process I should follow?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
