Need help with Amazon FBA account verification issue

Hey everyone,

I’m facing a serious account verification issue with my Amazon FBA account and I need your advice.

My situation:

I opened an FBA account but got a verification issue. I appealed and resubmitted all required documents, but Amazon emailed me saying that my information doesn’t match the provided documents and restricted my account. I then tried opening a new account with a different email and phone number, but I encountered the same issue again.

Documents I submitted:

US driver’s license – My official US identification
Bangladesh passport – My original passport
EIN confirmation letter – Issued by the IRS for my LLC
Business bank statement – Bank of America
Utility bill – Proof of my US address

Possible issue:

The address on my US driver’s license and utility bill is different from my Bangladesh passport address. Could this be the reason for the verification failure?

Questions for the experts:

How can I successfully verify my Amazon FBA account in this situation?
Has anyone faced a similar issue and how did you resolve it?

I’d really appreciate any insights or guidance on how to overcome this issue and get my account verified.

Thanks in advance!

Amazon is very strict with verification, and inconsistencies in addresses across documents can definitely trigger issues. Since your US driver’s license and utility bill have a different address from your Bangladesh passport, Amazon might see this as a mismatch, leading to verification failure. To resolve this, ensure that the address on your utility bill and bank statement matches the one on your official identification documents as closely as possible. If your business entity is based in the US, Amazon expects consistency in your business registration, banking, and proof of address. Instead of opening a new account, which can worsen the situation, focus on fixing the current one by contacting Amazon Seller Support and providing a clear explanation along with any additional proof that links your documents together, such as a lease agreement or a notarized affidavit confirming your residence.

Hi,

Your Amazon verification was rejected due to mismatched addresses on your documents and possibly an unacceptable bank statement.

How to Fix It:

  • Ensure the address matches across all documents (passport, driver’s license, utility bill).
  • Avoid using a Mercury bank statement—submit one from Bank of America instead.
  • Do not open a new account; appeal using corrected documents.
  • Double-check that your name exactly matches your passport.

Try these fixes and submit again.
