Need guidance

Along with many sellers , On 24th June , we received a notification from amazon that we are restricted to sell around 30 brands (small - medium sized brands) we have been selling for past 4 years. Right now we have 7 brands’ inventory stranded (49 listings) on our account , with no ‘apply to sell’ option .

-We do wholesale, sourcing directly from brands / authorized distributors

-We have LOAs and permission to sell on amazon from brand

-Brands are not that active on amazon and do not assign roles in brand registry to sellers. They are saying LOA will serve the purpose.

-We have confirmed from brands , there is not any kind of restriction from their side.

-Amazon gave us email to contact, we sent several emails but have not seen any response.

-Amazon is telling us to wait and delay the removal date , hoping for apply to sell option to appear.

What should we do now?

Has any one got some progress on this ?

Our account is healthy and active.

Major inventory is in stranded .

We have all documentation available

Invoice , LOA, Transaction details , POD etc

Is this USA? What categories are affected?

What a rubbish thing, incredible.

You need brand registry from the Brand. This is the way to go. I don’t know why people are not talking about Brand Registry.

These brands are small, they don’t do that… Most of them are not even active on Amazon.

You should contact and push them to brand acess.

That’s the next plan.

Choose Listing Issue → Stranded Inventory → Restricted ASIN, and in the message, include the following:

  • Confirmation you have LOAs and invoices
  • That the brand does not restrict you
  • That there’s no “Apply to Sell” button
  • That you’ve emailed the escalation address provided by Amazon with no response
  • Request manual ungating or listing restoration based on documentation
