My USA marketplace account got deactivated after selling a few units

They’re asking me to verify my ID. Why is this necessary? I already did this when I first opened my seller account.

Amazon may request ID verification for several reasons, including fraud prevention, ensuring compliance with their policies, or addressing account security concerns. Even if you provided your ID when you first opened your seller account, they may need to re-verify it for additional security measures or if there are any doubts about your account’s legitimacy. It’s a standard practice to maintain the integrity of the marketplace and protect both buyers and sellers.
