Multiple accounts policy violation

Hello Folks,

My account got linked to another account due to a third-party guy I hired. He signed both the account from the same device and the same internet. On the day account was created, I added my personal number for OTP and I never provided the OTP to that guy after that. Which means the guy never logged into my account after the date of creation. After talking to a few AH reps, I got a clue that a phone number or email is also common. However, I requested the VA and he showed me the other account and I don’t see any of my contacts being used on that account.

Here are the steps that I took to disassociate my account from the other account. These steps are mentioned in my appeal as well.

  1. I have changed the password of my account to revoke his access to my account. The other user permissions on my account belong to my other service provider who is helping me in running my business. I have checked with them and they have confirmed that they do not have primary access to any other account.
  2. Now it is only me who has the primary access to the account.
  3. I have stopped using the services of this guy (Bilal Farooq). Please see the termination letter attached.
  4. I have tried to find out any details about the other account but I got no information on the internet.
  5. History of efforts to disassociate my account from the other account and to remove any linking data:
    • Moreover, I have checked the other account over a zoom meeting twice with my ex VA on 28th May and previously on 24th May 2024. I can confirm that there is no common information between my account and his account. I have checked the following sections [Screenshots of PA account taken in Zoom meeting attached for reference]:
    Business address
    Ship from address
    Return address
    Login setting
    Deposit method
    Charge method
    Notification Preferences
    Tax information
    Buyer account credit cards and address sections
    I also got their devices’ cache and the cookies cleared.
    • To be on safer side I also changed my credit card, password, primary login details and phone number so that there must not be anything left similar on both accounts.
    • I have also removed the cache and the cookies and the browsing history of all time from my device.
    • I got the cache and the cookies and the browsing history removed from my VA’s computer and from his mobile.
    • I got the Amazon seller app and related data removed from his mobile and got the app reinstalled.
    • I got the basic troubleshooting done on my VA’s computer to remove any linked data. These steps are performed after watching this video
    • On July 30th, 2024, I did another online meeting with my ex-VA and performed the basic troubleshooting as suggested by the account health. We followed the following youtube video to perform this step:

    During this meeting, I got all the saved passwords removed from his browsers and also cleared cookies, saved data and browsing history.
    • As a last step, on 9th August, I pushed my VA to delete the MS WINDOWS and the data stored in it. He has done it and has installed a fresh copy of MS WINDOWS. It has removed any and all the saved data in his computer.

They keep coming back mentioning ‘still some active signals’.

thank you for joining. I am sorry to hear that your Seller Account has been deactivated due to related suspended account.

Why did you hire someone to open an account for you? Was the account deactivated immediately after opening? Did the other party have user permissions for your account or how did they access it?

Could you post here a copy of that communication?

I hired the third party because I was not experienced enough to deal with Amazon. A friend told me that it is once in a lifetime opportunity and never wanted to lose it.

No, It was deactivated after 6 months.
No, The other party basically signed up for me so they had primary access of the account. However, Soon I got the login details I changed the phone number for OTP and after that the third party never logged in.

They send me the generic response that they do not have enough information, however, when I call them they tell me that there is still an active relationship.

Could it be the user permissions? What about the buyer account, what details is it registered on?

You need to check the relevant factors to find out what the reason is.
