Merging two separate Seller Accounts into one

Hello. Me and my friend (both have separate seller accounts) want to merge and operate from just one single account. We would like to open a business in a new European Country with 2 shareholders and then change the business details on one of the existing accounts. Of course the other account will be deleted, because I am aware that it is a little tricky with amazon to have 2 accounts. My question is: Will there be any issues with this? When we change the business details I am aware that we will trigger reverification, but has someone faced any problems in Europe with this?
I saw that there are problems with companies from UK that move to Europe with this verification, that you are waiting a lot of time.
How long the verification process can take?
Any thoughts shared are deeply appreciated. Have a nice day.

My advice is that you keep the other account just in case you split at some point.

Established accounts are viewed differently by Amazon. You don’t need to jump through hoops over approvals.

Try maintaining it active by selling let’s say a small portion of your current inventory.

Your existing accounts will link, then link to this. Plus any related (u don’t know but there are) account to either will suspend, then you’ll get a “related” suspend back to you, then new one.
