Maximum shipping time allowance to customer?

Hello,

a question for those who do FBM, can someone tell me what is the maximum time until I can send the product to the customer? A normal delivery, not express or others.

Thank you

First, you need full tracking. You can choose the time based on the country you’re shipping from. If shipping from the US, select the appropriate shipping rate template and modify it. For standard delivery, select the delivery time for your specific logistics provider.

If you’re shipping internationally, you can select the delivery time for non-local shipments. Select the logistics provider and the time will pop up.

If you need a lead time, you can adjust the lead time by going to your product, editing it, then going to Quote, then Processing Time.

Thank you so much!

For standard FBM on Amazon, you usually get 1 to 2 business days to ship and around 3 to 5 days for delivery. But it depends on the handling and transit time you set in your shipping template.

There isn’t a single fixed “maximum” across Amazon for FBM; you must ship by the “ship-by” date generated from your shipping template’s handling time plus transit time, and as long as you confirm dispatch by that date you’re within policy.

For regular domestic Standard shipping most sellers use 1–2 business days handling and 2–5 business days transit, while made-to-order or Handmade items can use a longer per-SKU handling/production time if you set it explicitly.

If you need more time, increase the handling time in your template or per SKU before you get an order so the buyer promise reflects reality, because confirming after the ship-by date counts as a late shipment and you must keep Late Shipment Rate under 4%.

Longer promises will hurt conversion and Buy Box odds, so keep the window as short as you can reliably meet and make sure you upload valid tracking on time.
