I have created a listing added color variations (3 total). On the parent listing should I see option to select one of the three variations like a drop down or box selections?
I dont see atm and I am assuming I missed a step.

The parent listing should definitely show a drop-down or box selection for the color variations. If you’re not seeing it, you might have missed a step. Check your listing setup and make sure you’ve correctly added the variations.
Thanks guys. The shipment is in “receiving” status and the listing is put on Inactive (closed) just so I can optimize the listing by the time they finish stocking. I am also reading that this is normal until its stocked and live listing. If that is the case, I should be ok?

It’s normal for the listing to be inactive until it’s stocked and live.
