I’m being reimbursed a quarter of my sale price because of this and the new reimbursement policy.
Is there a way they reimburse the full refund?

Is there a way they reimburse the full refund?
As of March 31, 2025, Amazon has transitioned to a cost-based reimbursement model for lost or damaged inventory. This means reimbursements are now calculated based on the product’s manufacturing cost rather than its sale price. If you haven’t provided your actual sourcing costs, Amazon will estimate them, which can sometimes result in lower reimbursement amounts.
To potentially receive a higher reimbursement, you can submit your actual sourcing costs through the “Manage Your Sourcing Cost” page in Seller Central.
If you believe the reimbursement is still insufficient after submitting your costs, you have the option to appeal the decision. When appealing, ensure you provide clear and concise explanations along with supporting documents to strengthen your case.
Additionally, consider using third-party services like GETIDA or Sellerise, which specialize in auditing FBA transactions and assisting sellers in recovering eligible reimbursements. These services can help identify discrepancies and manage the claims process on your behalf.
You won’t get a better payout. They changed the policy exactly for this reason, to prevent sellers from making money out of reimbursed units. Now, if you receive anything, it will be the manufacturing price. Nothing you can do about it I am afraid.
