Hello everyone,

As a new Amazon seller, it’s understandable that you may have unintentionally used another seller’s listing for your product. To ensure compliance with Amazon’s selling policies, it’s important to take appropriate corrective measures. While I cannot provide specific advice for your situation, I can offer some general guidance:

  1. Delete the inactive listing: It’s good that you have already deleted your inactive listing for the concerned ASIN. This helps prevent any confusion or conflicts with other sellers and their products.
  2. Contact Amazon Seller Support: It’s advisable to reach out to Amazon Seller Support as soon as possible to explain the situation and seek guidance. They will be able to provide you with specific instructions on how to address the issue and any potential IP concerns.
  3. Gather necessary documentation: Before contacting Amazon, gather any relevant documentation that can support your case. This may include proof of your product, invoices, or any other evidence that shows your product is distinct from the existing ASIN you mistakenly used.
  4. Cooperate with Amazon’s investigation: If Amazon initiates an investigation or requests additional information, cooperate fully and provide them with all the required details. Respond promptly and transparently to any communication from Amazon Seller Support.
  5. Consult legal advice if needed: If you are concerned about potential IP complaints or legal issues, it may be prudent to consult with a legal professional who specializes in e-commerce or intellectual property matters. They can provide guidance tailored to your specific situation.

Remember, every situation is unique, and it’s essential to work closely with Amazon Seller Support to resolve the issue and ensure compliance with Amazon’s policies. They will provide you with the most accurate and up-to-date information based on your circumstances.

I hope this guidance helps you navigate the situation effectively. If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please don’t hesitate to ask.

If this is the same products, then you are suppose to use the same ASIN, not create a new one
