Just Resolved My Section 3 Verification: Key Takeaways

I recently completed my Section 3 verification, and I wanted to share some key points that might help others.

Immediate Action: As soon as I received the notification, I called the Account Health Team and asked for guidance on how to successfully complete my verification. They advised me to submit my documents by highlighting the products under observation. Importantly, they instructed me to print the documents, highlight the necessary information by hand, and then scan them—no software highlighting. I followed these instructions carefully.

Documents Submitted:

  • “ID Proof”

I submitted my passport as ID proof.

  • “Invoices, Order Confirmations, and Proof of Delivery”

I printed the relevant invoices and highlighted the products under review. I used a separator page with the product details, including ASIN, quantity under review, brand, supplier name, and attached pictures of the front and back of the product. I then combined all documents into a single file. It’s crucial to keep everything clear and easy to understand.

  • “Statement”

I used two accounts for payments to suppliers, and my Wise account is linked to Amazon. I printed both statements, highlighted the relevant transactions, and then scanned them.

  • “Business Documents”

I provided my Certificate of Formation and EIN.

Questions They Asked:

  • Name, ID, Store Name, Address

  • Last digits of the charge card and deposit account

  • Products listed in the account

  • Supplier names, quantities, and prep center names

  • Order confirmation (which I had already attached)

  • Product checking criteria

  • They reviewed the invoices with me and asked me to show the purchase-related transactions.

The interview took about 20 to 25 minutes. Afterward, they asked me to resend all the documents to the email address they provided. Three days later, I received confirmation that my shipmentcreation ability was enabled, and my funds would be disbursed.

Final Tip:

Ensure you have all the required documents to prove your supply chain and be confident during the interview.

Hope it helps

When they asked for the related transactions did they made you log in your bank account while they were watching or the physical statement was enough?

No! I already highlighted the transaction on my submitted documents. When they ask so I tell them to check on statement. I just mention the page no of statement and they confirm it.

They only verify the supply chain through screen sharing. For bank statements, they require you to show the physical documents on camera. The supply chain can also include emails or the web portal used for placing orders.

Aside from questions about identity, bank statements, and the supply chain process, are there any other questions or topics we should be prepared for? Are there any unrelated questions that might come up during the verification process? Thank you!
