I use a third-party tool to track my sales, and it shows that I’ve sold 10 units in the last 30 days, while my Amazon dashboard shows 0. I’m confused.
I also received a confirmation email from Amazon last night saying my inventory has arrived at their warehouses, but my inventory has actually been live since the 4th of this month.
This can happen because third-party tools and Amazon often pull data from different reports and update at different times, so one can show sales while the other still shows zero. It is also possible the tool is counting ordered or shipped units differently from what your dashboard is showing.
As for the warehouse email, Amazon notifications are often delayed and do not always match the exact day your inventory first became available, so that part is not unusual either. I would compare your Manage FBA Inventory, order reports, and payments reports inside Seller Central to see which number matches the real activity, because Amazon’s own reports should be treated as the main source.
