Is it okay to purchase health and beauty products in the US and to sell them in the UK?

Hi guys,

there have been issues with buying from iHerb due to labelling not meeting UK requirements for example.

Is anyone doing sourcing from the US for the UK successfully without recieving any ips / violations?

I think it’s allowed unless they have a specific parallel imports policy.

I personally wouldnt rely on it as a niche in this category beauty/ supplements - I can forsee alot of issues due to different requirements. Other product lines are probably safer.

I know people that are doing this business model quite well. However, the requirements can vary from product to product. Personally, I have bought from the USA and sold in the UK without any issues. My approach is to get started, buy, sell, and if I encounter any problems, I sort them out as they arise. That’s how I learn !

Regarding IP claims, just do the same checks that you would for any brand in any business model. If you’re unsure, let me know and I can share a video with you on how to avoid IP claims !
