Is it necessary to send inventory directly to the EU yourself in order to avoid the European Fulfillment Network fees that Amazon applies when fulfilling orders from the UK to EU countries?

If so, what are the logistics involved in doing so, and how does it impact overall costs and delivery times compared to using EFN for cross-border fulfillment?

Yes it is necessary.

You need to organise transport and customs.

Fulfilment fees are cheaper than EFN and delivery times are quicker.

The big issue is that you MUST register for VAT in at least 1 country, maybe more.

There is lots of help in Seller Central. If this is something you want to do, it’s important you read it all.

Thank you, that’s what I thought!

Yes, to avoid EFN fees, you need to send inventory directly to EU fulfillment centers. This ensures local shipping and avoids cross-border charges.
