We’ve just had a 2 star product review left for one of our products which states as title “Service not good” then the review “High price”.
Even if it were true about the service (which it isn’t, they received the product within 4 days as promised) this is seller feedback. The high price is ridiculous as the price is clear when buying and is very competitive. I note the customer has left lots of other reviews for other products all 1 star stating the same or similar.
From commmunity guidelines:
" What’s not allowed
Seller, order and shipping feedback
We don’t allow reviews or questions and answers that focus on:
Sellers and the customer service they provide"
I tried the report button but I don’t beleive that does anything ever. Seller support just give directions on how to get seller feedback removed, because they are cretins.
So is it ever possible to get a product review removed? Or should I save my energy assuming we just have to live with it (which I assume)?
It’s frustrating when customers leave unfair product reviews, especially when they clearly fall under seller feedback rather than an actual product review. Based on Amazon’s community guidelines, reviews that focus on service, order issues, or pricing complaints shouldn’t be allowed, but in practice, getting them removed can be difficult. Reporting often feels ineffective, and seller support usually just redirects to standard feedback removal processes. If the review history of this customer shows a pattern of similar complaints across multiple products, you could try escalating the issue with solid evidence. However, given Amazon’s usual stance, it’s likely best to assume the review will remain unless you get lucky with a support rep who understands the policy properly.
