It is absolutely not good to start with 3000 units. Go with 100 first. Even before that check the market using tools like helium if your product has a demand and do competition research to improve your offer.

Starting with 3000 units for FBA to brand your product is a good idea if you have a clear market demand and budget for it. But if you don’t have an idea how you get quick sales or how much time it takes, then go with less than 300_500 units first.
