I called HMRC and I am getting typical response of 30 days etc. Normally it would take 3-5 days, but it’s taking much longer.
We recently experienced this issue as our November and December submissions weren’t paid out. It wasn’t until January that they replied, informing me that we were being audited.
Two months of uncertainty with no replies was frustrating, but we submitted all the required information, and the audit was completed within 2–3 weeks.
