Payments to Amazon Mexico aren’t going through with my Meezan debit card, but payments to the USA and Canada work fine with the same card.
When I contacted the helpline, they said the merchant has been blocked by the bank. Is anyone else facing the same issue?
The fact that payments to the US & Canada go through but Mexico is being blocked strongly suggests that your bank has placed a merchant or geographic block, or sees the Mexico-based merchant as “higher risk.”
Try doing a small test transaction via a Mexico-based merchant you trust to see if the block is general or only affecting Amazon Mexico.
If the bank refuses or says they can’t help, consider using an international payment method (Payoneer, Wise, or a credit card with global support) specifically for those transactions.
