Is anyone else struggling with finding wholesale suppliers who accept Amazon resellers?

Hello guys,

I reached out to one of a renowned brands in the US for a potential opening of a Wholeasale account. It provided us with a list of distributors instead. I informed the brand that I am an FBA Seller and I would require a LOA and support in case Amazon wants to know if I have authorize to resell your products.

Brand’s response: “We do not provide letters of authorization nor do we have the ability to support Amazon/3rd party platform sales. This will be between you and Amazon.”

What to do in this situation? Ty in advance.

There is nothing you can do unless you cozy up to someone internally at the brand. Unfortunately Amazon became a race to the bottom and renowned brands don’t want their price to drop or image tarnished.

Get an invoice by purchasing the brands you want to sell from one of their wholesalers and/or their distributors.

It’s difficult to start as a newbie, since most brands don’t want to undercut their existing distributors who already sell on Amazon.

Get a professionally looking e-commerce website and some social media presence. This will help you get accepted for wholesale accounts.
