Is a wholesale sourcing business model still viable on Amazon?

Hi guys,

I would love your input, please share your genuine thoughts and perspectives.

I’ve created a tool similar to Analyzer.tools and Keepa, but significantly more advanced, with far more nuanced features and a million customizations. It essentially reduces the time spent processing wholesale spreadsheets by 90%.

I’ve now reached a point where, to scale, I would need to pause, secure a $200,000 investment, and rewrite the software.

My question is: Is the wholesale/closeout/spreadsheet-based model of business dying, or if the tool is truly exceptional, do you believe it still has a future, even if only for a few more years?

Please comment if you’ve worked with this model of business.

Thank you so much for your input.

I do not think it is dying, people still using softwares to scan price lists.

I personally rely much less on scanning software now, given the availability of AI agents and their research capabilities. I might consider using it again, but only if it has the ability to scan and compare product names with Amazon titles, not just scan SKUs.
