I connected my Tide account to my Amazon UK account 2 months ago. Since then, Amazon has been sending payments, and at the same time, it has been deducting its fees from the same account. However, two days ago, a message appeared on my Seller Central dashboard stating that my account is at risk because I don’t have a charge method set up for other marketplaces. So, I added the same Tide account as a charge method for Amazon Germany, but after a while, it showed “invalid charge method.” I’ve tried adding the same Tide account 2-3 times again, but it’s not working.
Now, this “invalid charge method” issue has also started appearing on my main marketplace, the UK, where I am only selling.
If anyone has faced a similar issue, please guide me. Just to let you know, I don’t have any other bank or card available.
Tide’s cards aren’t credit cards, they are in fact pre-paid credit cards & Amazon don’t accept them as the charge methods so you will need a different card.
I know you can get Amazon to disperse to a Tide account, but I’ve not heard that anyone has got Amazon to accept them as a valid card to charge to…as they aren’t a ‘real’ credit card.
They are not pre paid. Just add a different account. For me all other countries are ok, just Spain is keeping getting fussy and not recognising the same account as all other marketplace’s. Just add a different bank account, credit or debit card.
