Introducing the SAFE-T reimbursement feature for Amazon-issued refunds on Seller Fulfilled Prime orders

Announcement reposted from Amazon Europe:

On October 30th 2023, we are introducing the SAFE-T reimbursement feature for Amazon-issued refunds on Seller Fulfilled Prime orders.

If we issue a refund on your behalf on a Seller Fulfilled Prime order and there is an issue with the refund (for example, if the customer returns a damaged, incomplete or materially different item), then you can file a SAFE-T claim to request a reimbursement of the refund issued by us.

You may file a SAFE-T claim within 60 days of the refund being charged to your account. Note that the SAFE-T feature will replace the existing reimbursement claim process for Seller Fulfilled Prime orders via Selling Partner Support.

Before filing a claim, carefully review the Seller reimbursement policy for Seller Fulfilled Prime page to learn which use cases are eligible for reimbursement via SAFE-T, what restrictions apply, and how to successfully file and manage a claim.
