Initiating payments has no real effect!

Last week, I sold a book on Amazon and properly initiated the payment to me.

Amazon sent me the usual email confirming that ‘Your disbursement is on its way’.

This morning my bank account had still not received the money and going to the Seller’s payments section, the very same sum is shown as still requiring to be initiated.

What should I do differently to get paid by Amazon please?

If you haven’t received your payment from Amazon as expected, there are a few steps you can take to address the issue:

  1. Verify payment processing time: Check the payment processing time mentioned in the email you received from Amazon. Payments usually take a few business days to reach your bank account, so make sure you allow sufficient time for the payment to be processed.
  2. Check your payment account information: Ensure that your bank account information in your Amazon Seller Central account is accurate and up to date. Double-check the account number, routing number, and any other relevant details to ensure there are no errors or discrepancies that could affect the payment.
  3. Contact Amazon Seller Support: Reach out to Amazon Seller Support to inquire about the delay in payment. Provide them with the necessary details, including the order number, payment amount, and any relevant information from the confirmation email you received. They can investigate the issue and provide you with information on the status of your payment.
  4. Review your payment settings: In your Amazon Seller Central account, review your payment settings to ensure they are properly configured. Check if there are any pending actions required from your end, such as confirming your bank account or resolving any account-related issues.
  5. Monitor your account: Keep an eye on your Amazon Seller Central account to see if there are any updates or notifications regarding your payment. Sometimes, Amazon may provide additional information or requirements that need to be fulfilled for the payment to be processed.

If the issue persists or you require further assistance, continue to communicate with Amazon Seller Support, providing them with any relevant details or documentation they may request. They should be able to guide you through the process and help resolve the payment delay.
