My product brand is KATINICO, which has not been registered on Amazon but is listed on the whitelist. Brand Celine Dion believes we are infringing on their rights, and now my account has been suspended due to authenticity issues. I submitted an invoice for my first appeal, but it was rejected. The reasons are as follows:
We received your submission but do not have enough information to address the issues with your listings at this time.
Please send the following information for the items listed at the end of this email:
– Copies of invoices, receipts, contracts, delivery orders, or authorization letters from your supplier issued in the last 365 days. The quantity of items shown should match your inventory.
– If you are not the brand owner, provide an authorization letter and a complete set of documentation, including authorization letters, to prove a valid supply chain.
– If you are the brand owner, provide a copy of the brand registration certificate, and business license or personal identity card.
– Contact information for your supplier, including name, phone number, address, email, and website.
You can send .pdf, .jpg, .png, or .gif files. These documents must be authentic and unaltered. We may call your supplier to verify the documents. You may remove pricing information, but the rest of the document must be visible. We will maintain the confidentiality of your supplier contact information.
Do you have all the necessary documents amazon are requesting from you, also your supplier are they authentic
If your supplier isn’t authentic there’s lower chance that amazon will accept their invoice but there’s a way to bypass that
In your situation, Amazon is requesting comprehensive documentation to verify both the authenticity of your products and the legitimacy of your supply chain, especially given that a well-known brand like Celine Dion has claimed infringement. Since KATINICO is your brand and not registered with Amazon Brand Registry, you’re in a weaker position by default. To proceed effectively, you need to submit a full appeal package. First, if you are the brand owner, you should provide a trademark certificate (preferably USPTO-registered if selling on Amazon.com), your government-issued ID or business license, and photos showing your brand name clearly printed on the product and packaging. Second, include the original purchase invoice(s) for the inventory currently held by Amazon, ensuring that it lists your supplier’s full contact details and matches the quantity in stock. If you are not manufacturing the product yourself, also include a letter of authorization from your supplier granting you rights to sell the branded products. If your supplier is unfamiliar to Amazon, they may attempt to verify them—so make sure the supplier is aware and responsive. Include a concise, factual explanation in your appeal letter stating that KATINICO is your brand, that it is not affiliated with Celine Dion, and that all goods are genuine. If possible, register your brand through Amazon Brand Registry now to strengthen your position, and avoid using names, keywords, or styles that could be confused with protected brands like Celine Dion in the future.
I really don’t mean to be rude but are you seriously asking for people’s opinions whether or not your product contravenes Celine Dion’s intellectual property?
The logos are as identical as you can get so clearly the bags are trying to pretend something they are not. Come on, get real!
It’s the sort of items you will find being peddled for a few £s in a local street market, not on one of the world’s largest e-commerce platforms.
You received some good advice. Just to add, these logos are identical. Generally, if the trademark name is not mentioned in the listing, the only occasion when Amazon removes the product is when they are cooperating with the rights owner.
I don’t think you could get reinstated, especially if you had other similar products. Did they provide you any instructions what you can do, i.e. submit a Plan of Action or just invoices?
Were all of your items with logos like this? If the brand name was not mentioned on the product page, this must have been a direct contact from the brand to Amazon.
